Trail Tenders are the dedicated partners with the Bureau of Land Management in operating the National Historic OregonTrail Interpretive Center.
With more than 100 members, Trail Tenders provides on-the-ground volunteer support, manages the Center's gift shop, and raises funds which are donated to the Center for facility enhancement, exhibits, and educational and interpretive programs. They also help plan and conduct special events and public outreach activities.

The mission of Trail Tenders is to enhance the quality of the educational and recreational programs for the public benefit within the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center complex, and to further the Center's goals throughout Baker County. Our programs attract over 60,000 visitors and more than 5,000 students annually.
