Trail Tenders National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center Baker City, Oregon

JOIN US! Our all volunteer group includes all kinds of
people, all ages and a variety of interests and talents.
We volunteer at the Interpretive Center for a variety of
reasons - to help our community, to help tourists, to learn
new things and meet new people, to gain career
experience, but mostly to share a passion for history,
nature, and eastern Oregon. Some of our volunteers
donate over 300 hours per year, while other help out only
at special events or on special projects. No matter what
the contribution, all our volunteers add to our ability to
keep the Interpretive Center a special place, a great tourist
attraction and educational facility.
If this sounds like you - why not join us! We have a variety
of volunteer positions (listed below). Contact us and let us
know your interests, skills, availability and schedule.
Whether you can only volunteer occasionally, or would like
a regularly scheduled assignment, we probably have
something for you. If you are interested, but feel you need
more training...we will provide it.
If you are interested in joining, please contact us!
