Each Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, Living History interpreters bring frontier characters to life. This year we celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Oregon Trail! Join us as our interpreters re-create the excitement of preparing for the 5 month journey to Oregon in 1843. Located in the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, and outdoors at the Wagon Encampment from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm each day (weather permitting).
Join Us!
The annual Meet the Pioneers is a great time to volunteer at the Center. Living History Interpreters provide insight on pioneer life along the Trail to visitors, while other volunteers cook in Dutch Ovens to provide a sample of food along the trail.
